This is jig has an elongated arrowhead shape. As with all slow pitch jigs, it is centre weighted; however, its shape, which features a strongly scalloped cutaway, enables it to cut through the water column more effectively than most slow pitch jigs when lowered on a semi-slack line. When allowed to fall freely, it has a fluttering, spiralling action. Bumblebee jigs are available in a wide range of weights (from 90 to 240g) in 9 colour options, which are standardised across the sizes. Because of their unique shape, Bumblebee jigs can be used effectively in deeper water and in stronger currents than Dragonfly series jigs. As with the Dragonfly series, the flashier, non-glow colours like PBL are best suited to shallower, clear water applications whereas darker colours (e.g. #02) and colours featuring strong luminescence (e.g. # 09) are to be preferred for more discoloured water and deeper applications.
